With years of experience in the fashion and beauty industry, young and talented Jake Galvez has made a name for himself. Just in his early twenties, he has built an impressive portfolio that includes numerous commercial and editorial bookings. Recognized as one of the L’Oréal Professionel Techni-Artist and represents Kryolan Pro Makeup, he is also a trainer at the Tony Galvez School of Cosmetology and a beauty columnist for Manila Bulletin.
Trained by competent coiffeur and expert aesthete Tony Galvez, coupled with several cosmetology trainings abroad, Jake began his extraordinary career several years ago he has since been acclaimed across the country for his creative makeup artistry and styling. Now known in Manila for his memorable brushwork and transformations featured in magazines, runways, and advertising, Jake still remains true to the vision he has for the profession and that is to raise it to international standards.
For Jake Galvez, being a beauty maverick is not just an art but also a science, not just a show of talent but of skill and not just bestowed by kin but earned with hard work and perseverance.
